Where did it start…!!! Growing up in New York, he had an unbelievable passion for music. He started his DJing days at the age of 13. He was gifted his first set of turntables by the parents of a close family friend that had tragically passed away. He has since been ever so grateful. He brought those 2 Technics 1800’s straight up to his room and started mixing his only 2 records. “Materialistic Girl by & More” & “Wondering by Tonasia.” He would mix back and forth, hour by hour, day by day, trying not to wake his parents sleeping below. Records came and went, the years went by, and in that time he worked with various entertainment companies before landing his first residency.

It was a small local bar in Rockville Centre called “Rockwells.” He mixed top 40 tunes and packed the place out every night he worked. His 2 year residency ended on a sad note when he showed up for work one Saturday night and the doors were locked. Out of a job and being bitten by the DJ bug… Neil knew he had found what he was meant to do. He met a big time NYC promoter who was willing to give him a shot. Neil being a regular at Sound Factory, studied and watched JP create a magical culture, knew he was ready. He started spinning at one of New York’s biggest nightclubs, “EXIT.”

There he was able to show off his true talent, spinning in front of thousands of people. As the years progressed, Neil was DJing in various nightclubs all around NYC… until it happened. Sound Factory closed its doors and with that sending the House music industry back underground. Neil decided to go back to his roots. He started an entertainment company while DJing at local bars. The company grew fast after partnering-up with the best MC in New York. Weekends consisted of racing straight from weddings to whichever bar was featuring Neil’s talent and love for music. He loved it, but wanted more…

In January 2008, Neil was approached by a well-known Long Island “PUB.” They were making a transition from hosting rock concerts to a DJ club vibe and they wanted him involved. Neil accepted the challenge, knowing it would be a hard task, but it was something he was confident that could be done. As the months went by and people started hearing about the great promotions, they were coming in the door. Now it was up to Neil C to keep them coming back. With his enthusiastic way of DJing and his passion of the music shinning on the crowd, it became more than a Saturday night. It became an addiction. One year later, they became the number one dance party on Long Island, and though it is far from being a “Nightclub,” Neil C keeps the vibe and energy growing every Saturday night.

Neil C portrays his love of music each and every time he steps in front of a crowd. His fan base continues to grow and with his eagerness to continually improve his shows, there is no end insight for the possibilities that lie ahead on his journey.
